Countrywide Residential Lettings strike Gold at the 2012 RESI Awards

Countrywide’s rapidly expanding letting’s business picked up the coveted prize of UK Lettings Agent of the Year at this week’s 2012 RESI Awards.

CRL has grown over 25 years to become the UK’s largest lettings agent, operating 329 branches that help more than 50,000 landlords and tenants every year.

Industry leaders from across the residential property market celebrated the highest achievers on Tuesday 15^th May, which was held at the InterContinental London on Park Lane.

More than 560 people were attended the awards ceremony to see Countrywide scoop the top prize after judges praised Countrywide for its ‘record profitability and growth’.

Countrywide’s success in 2011 saw the business achieve:

24 percent increase in tenant applicants
19% increase in income – which exceeded £100m for the first time
60 new offices through organic growth and through acquisition (a 22% increase)
10% increase in proportion of managed units
20% increase in profits

In addition, Countrywide has heavily invested in new branches, online platforms, technology and staff development programmes, having created 240 jobs in the last year.
